I'm looking for good level 8 synchros because I'm thinking of adding rocket synchron in my red eyes deck so I can revive a red eyes card since it's a dark monster. I just want to see how many good options are their to see if it's worth adding rocket synchron.This synchro is absolutely fantastic in pendulum decks. It’s a level 8 synchro, requiring a pendulum tuner to summon it. This means all you need is a level 4 pendulum tuner and some other level 4 monster, that’s it! When TeleDAD died off as a competitive strategy in 2009 thanks to an aggressive set of restrictions on the Forbidden & Limited List, Level 6 and Level 7 Synchros became much more common compared to Level 8s.
Borreload Savage Dragon takes the crown as the best Synchro Monster in the game. It is a Level Eight Synchro Monster, which is an easy Synchro Level to go into and has generic requirements to make. It does require a Link Monster in the Graveyard to work, but practically every deck can accomplish this.
Omega is the best, hands down. Start your opponent off with 5 cards and you get a peek at what deck they're playing. Also it's hard to kill as you can just chain to banish itself and it recycles itself PLUS another card in your GY. Just good all around. The only 12’s worth making for them are their archetypal boss and Despian Luluwailith, and while they’re good cards I’d like more options from the 8 pool as well.
