As for the datejust I think much the same way as you do. It’s just a watch; strip away the hype and you have a competent design with some advantages and some disadvantages. Rolex DateJust options. I've 99% decided on a Datejust for my next watch to mark a milestone birthday this summer but as it's difficult to try the exact variations I'm looking at on side by side (even in pre-COVID restriction free times) I cannot make up my mind which to go for.
