• 19 min. ago. I've heard Hanae Mori Him is a good option but its not super easy to find cheaply now. 1. Award. It’s been discontinued for a while now, but this was one of my favorites. It’s just so mellow and enchanting. Is there anything that has a similar. The closest thing to Gucci Pour Homme II that I have had the pleasure of sniffing is for sure with out a doubt Hanae Mori HIM.. It has a very similar scent just a bit darker and spicier perhaps.. It is not a clone of the Gucci but it is the closest thing to my nose.. Anyway I came across Hanae Mori HiM and see that a lot of people rave about it as being similar to GPHII. Of course I did my research on fragrantica, reddit, basenotes, youtube. And I was left without a good answer. Fans of HiM exclaim how the fragrance smells like Pour Homme II by Gucci. Both have the same scent—aromatic and fresh woody-spice with a hint of red-hot pepper. Gucci Pour Homme II also has that elegant manly fragrance backed by fresh green notes.
I am a huge fan of Gucci Pour Homme 2 but unfortunately the perfume is no longer produced. Now I have found this fragrance and I am really pleasantly surprised because HIM is slightly different but still somehow very similar and has that certain aura of Gucci Pour Homme 2.A crossbreed between Gucci Pour Homme II and Spicebomb. HiM may feel a bit lower-budget than either, but is also more striking, amping up the DNA to create a mass-appealing blast that's sure to get you noticed (especially if you get the well-performing EDP).
HiM frequently draws comparisons to Gucci Pour Homme (as do a number of scents). It's similar but not quite the same.
