The foreseeable future is the 32XX class of movements, and this post isn’t to discourage you from buying watches with them.
I have given a 3235 already 2x to Rolex for repair, for free within the guarantee period. Got it back without any indication what they did, extremely discrete as always.

Grinding out a Submariner case or melting ceramic into a red and white bezel insert is just icing on the cake, and I’m sure Rolex knows this. One of the absolute worst things Rolex could do is replace a time-tested and reliable movement like the 3135 with something that doesn’t work as it should.
