My experience is only with GP vintage watches, and I honestly can't place them amongst the high-end brands like those you mention. They made good watches, in the same general category as Zenith, Longines, IWC, and Omega, speaking very broadly. These brands also produced truly excellent in-house movements. Most people looking to sell Rolex watches just want to know what is it worth and what is a fair .
) since I'm very familiar with these models .So In ascending order watches in excellant condition 9.5 /10 at least that has the best resale value are : ( The LE series are a different story so I wont mention them here ) 3 # SD 4K & Sub No Date .Surprisingly models with a lower resale value in Malaysia 2 # Sub Date # Ref 116610 Lv Hulk 1 # DSSD . I am seeking everyone's input on the re-sale value of Omega watches. I am asking for an educated discussion with no brand bashing. The reason I ask is as follows: My very first big boy watch was a 2007 Rolex Submariner 16613, with a blue face. I love the watch and I got a great deal buying it pre-owned. 3 # SD 4K & Sub No Date .Surprisingly models with a lower resale value in Malaysia 2 # Sub Date # Ref 116610 Lv Hulk 1 # DSSD # DSSD D-Blue Great post Megan:thumbsup: I am curious as to how the BLNR and new ceramic Daytonas are performing in the pre-owned market in Asia. But NOT Yachtmaster. If you want to bet Daytona, Submariner and GMT are the ones to go. If I were you I will try to find 1-2 year old Planet Ocean (with 2-3 years warranty intact). The resale value will not go down too far from your purchase value and you will get the watch with young and modern model rather than old Oyster case looking. Having said that, I am not into sporty looking watches. Watches in questions: Rolex Datejust 36 (steel and white gold, fluted bezel, Jubilee bracelet) VS. Omega Seamasters Aqua Terra 150M ( Steel - Sedna™ Gold on rubber strap, REF 220.22.41.21.02.001) My analysis (which demonstrates why this is a close call to me) 1. Price: Rolex AUD 10,100.

Feb 3, 2020. IMO the best value in Rolex steel sports is the 16600 Sea-Dweller. There is no reason why those are a lot of the time cheaper than a 14060m Sub. The SD is an entirely different beast altogether and at 40mm it is the perfect size. Back on subject, the black dial 16570 is probabley the cheapest point of entry for 5 digit sport Rolex, the polar dials seem to trade for more but I do prefer the black myself. There was a time not long ago when the 14060 Submariner was the oddball price wise, the 16610 and GMT's were shooting up while the "clean" Sub was still well priced . Yes. In most cases it will hurt the value. How much depends on the specifics of the watch. I personally try hard not to buy relumed watches.. The counter would be philips has sold many watches that look obviously relumed for premium prices so there are clearly buyers for them. 2. Posts. 1,442. Likes.
Jul 19, 2021. I've had a sub date since early 2016 (the 116610). Wore it 50:50 with my Omega SMPc for years. I gifted the Omega to my brother a couple years ago. Last October I bought a steel Planet Ocean in 39.5 mm.
