With freedom and exploration and the heart of the campaign’s philosophy, we were asked to craft the visual effects and photoreal CG behind the scenes where Burberry’s cast can be found bounding weightlessly through fields and into the skies – defying gravity.

The cinematographer reveals the challenges and techniques behind the dreamlike concept and the pandemic-safe production. Open Spaces was captured on Kodak Vision 3 500T 5219 using an Arriflex 235 paired with 14mm and 16mm ARRI Master Primes, with the camera package supplied by Panavision.
