Has anyone been able to get this kind of accuracy with his or her ETA 2836-2 movement?
This is my first time putting together an ETA 2836-2 GMT (Asia clone) - can link if necessary. I have some questions: From my research, on the dial - I need to only keep the following feet: 12 hour, and 42 minutes. for reference - my dial has 4 feet in total. The asian 2836-2 beats at 28,800 vph so is super smooth and is 99% of the time very reliable. the next best movement i believe is the selitta SW200 which is quite a bit more expensive. If your usual movement is neither the 2836 or sw200 then i would predict it to be a 2813 which is probably the lowest grade movement out their.
