That was until around April when Rolex decided to release the OP39 in both black and white dials and I immediately fell in love. It eventually came down to a toss-up between a Submariner Date and the Oyster Perpetual. I think the Oyster Perpetual line is the only current Rolex watch I'd consider, and the grey is really nice, although I'd prefer the 36mm version. I think 36mm looks better on everyone with a wrist this side of 8". The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39 is the best Rolex money - any money - can buy. Hewn from 360L steel, elegant and endlessly sensual. While I probably wouldn't pick one up for myself as I already have an Explorer and a Polar.so a white dial OP might be a bit too similar, I can imagine it being the perfect everyday watch.
The Oyster Perpetual line is easily the most versatile line of watches from Rolex, and offers a little bit of something for everybody. These new 39 mm watches are simply superb but understated pieces that offer incredible versatility without costing a fortune, or . So I just bought an OP 39 in white and I absolutely love it. To me, the dial is the star of the show. The color varies from pure white to eggshell white, to a light silver depending on the light. The size is perfect for most wrists. So just out of curiosity, does anyone know the difference between SUPER DOT 4 and LV? While I bled the oil fluid out, some remnants of the Super remained mixed in the with the fresh LV.
