Launched to celebrate six decades of 007 on screen, OMEGA’s Seamaster Diver 300M in stainless steel is replete with Bond movie tributes, including a playful and dynamic nod .

The SKX013 is water resistant to 200 meters, the screw-down crown at four o’clock has the hefty crown guards on either side, the crystal is Seiko’s proprietary Hardlex material, and the bezel has deep, even clicks. A stainless steel Rolex Jubilee-style bracelet earns this classic Seiko diver the full reference SKX013K2. When sold on the black rubber “wave” strap, the reference is SKX013K1. In my opinion, the Jubilee bracelet is the better option of the two OEM bands.
Seiko SKX013 Review: The Everyday Midsize Diver. November 19, 2018 by Ulises Valenzuela 8 Comments — Updated on January 22, 2024. There is no shortage of diver watches in the market. Arguably the most popular watch of all time is a diver’s watch, and yet, it’s not like you can buy a Rolex Submariner every other Wednesday. Despite the smaller proportions, the SKX013 houses exactly the same Caliber 7S26 automatic movement as its big brother and as such gives equally impressive performance, accuracy and reliability. In my opinion, the Seiko SKX013 is the only option worth considering if you’re in the market for an affordable small dive watch. It has a robust in-house automatic movement, it’s hefty, and it can take a beating. And because it’s a tool watch, is also has a nice and unique look. I bought the SKX013 few years ago when it was 0 on jomashop, and this was back then when I was going through some watch shopping phase, and my wife took the SKX013 for herself to wear to work.
The SKX013 is a 200m ISO rated dive watch and shares exactly the same features as the larger SKX007 but in a smaller package, measuring 38mm excluding the crown. I've seen the 013 variously referred to as a 'boy's' watch, a 'women's' watch and a 'junior' version of the 007. In sum, the Seiko SKX007 and SKX013 offer an excellent introduction to the world of automatic dive watches, embodying durability, functionality, and timeless design. The core difference lies primarily in the case size, making the SKX007 more suited for those with larger wrists or who prefer a bolder wrist presence.
If you prefer a large size faced watch, then go with the SKX007. In my opinion, the SKX007 on a 6.5" or smaller wrist would definitely be considered "big" for me. If you prefer a more "normal" sized watch then opt for the SKX013. I cannot overstate how much I love my Seiko SKX013. It's one of the best things I possess. It isn't the first automatic watch I've owned. I bought an Invicta dive watch previously. It was a Rolex Submariner clone and I never loved it. It had a stupid logo engraved on the side. I .
